Grocery store sales with added coupons

Published by sbrockett2005 at 3:50 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Today I have to blog about my experience at the grocery store today because I did awesome!  Well, at least in my opinion I believe I did.  I was looking through the Sunday morning paper and I ran across a sales ad for Kroger this morning.  I had already planned on going to a different grocery store to pick up a few items, however, their ad was fantastic this week.  Now, I am not sure if they run the same ads throughout the states, but here in VA it was a good one.  On the front page, was two of the items I needed to get and they were cheaper at Kroger.  Hot diggity dog!  I was excited because I like to go there since I save my additional five cents per bag used.  So I looked through the ad and realized there were some more items that I was going to need that was not only on sale, but I had coupons for too.  I was so excited.  Now, I will admit that a couple of items I didn’t have to buy today, however, the sale was ending and I had coupons so I would be stupid not to take advantage.  My best purchase was on sour cream of all thing.  It was a 16 ounce on sale for $1.99, but then I had a $.50 coupon which gets doubled so I only paid $.99 for sour cream that normally is $2.49.  How exciting is that!!!!
